Frequently Asked Questions
How should I store the soufflés?
Place soufflés in your freezer immediately.
How long will they last in my freezer?
Please refer to the Best Used by date on the box. Frozen soufflés last up to 12 months frozen.
Can I refreeze soufflés after they have thawed?
No. Once thawed, soufflés should be baked and eaten immediately or stored in your refrigerator.
If I can’t refreeze them, can I keep them in the refrigerator? If so, for how long?
Yes, you can keep thawed soufflés in your refrigerator for up to 4 days.
If I cook several soufflés but don’t use all of them, can I keep them and serve at a later date?
Yes. Wrap unused cooked soufflés in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator. To reheat, unwrap and place in microwave for 30 seconds. The soufflés will not rise again, but the taste is still great. When in a rush, you can cook them in advance, reheat in the microwave and serve with a scoop of ice cream. It makes a great quick and easy treat for anytime.
Can you give me some serving suggestions?
Serve soufflés with your favorite ice cream, whip cream or sprinkle with powdered sugar and add fresh berries.
If I order from your web site, how will I receive my soufflés?
Soufflés are packaged with dry ice and sent via UPS or Federal Express Ground. Overnight and 2nd Day Air are available. Please contact us at info@heavenlysouffle.com for pricing.
What if my order arrives on time but the dry ice is melted?
If your order arrives on time, but the dry ice has melted, don’t be alarmed. As long as the food is still "refrigerator cold" to the touch, your order can be safely placed in the freezer with no impact on the quality. If you’re not sure, call Customer Service at 866/892-1096.
When I received my order there was a brown package in the box. What is this?
The dry ice is wrapped in brown paper. During transit the ice will evaporate and the paper should be thrown in the garbage. Do not open the brown package or touch the dry ice. Do not eat dry ice or put in drinks.
I would like to serve your soufflés at my next party. Do you offer bulk discounts for large orders?
Yes, we offer discounts for over 12 boxes (24 individual soufflés). Please send us an email or call 866/892-1096 for pricing.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. For more information, please send us an email or call 866/892-1096.
Do you sell to restaurants and caterers?
Yes, we sell our soufflés in food service packs for restaurants, caterers and country clubs. For additional information on our food service packs, please contact us at info@heavenlysouffle.com.
